do you own this shirt? It’d be a lot cooler if you did.
hello all you wonderful people. do you remember the movie “Dazed and Confused”? me too. it was and still is one of my favorite movies. reflects my childhood so much, and also Ben Affleck is a TOTAL asshole in it. i gotta say though, when it comes to classic characters, Matthew McConaughey’s “Wooderson” took the cake… and the high school girls with him…
so.. to commemorate the 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the filming and inception of this amazing movie, we brought a little someone from the film back to be the life of the party for our new video for the song “Synthesizers”. the song lyrics really relate to just about anyone who has a hard time moving on with the changes that life throws at you…. so without further ado…
enjoy and you’re welcome…watch it now on VEVO.

Reblogging for a 2nd time today in a span of 10 minutes…
For Christmas I got a new snazzy MacBook Pro because apparently my OG white MacBook was out of style and lame now; who knew? ANYWAYS since Christmas I have yet to pick it up until this past hour to uploads some pictures onto my new beauty. I was also reprimanded about how I had not yet used it since the transfer from old to new, which heavily influenced my post(s). So let’s take a stroll down memory lane, shall we?
To be honest 2011 had more downs than ups for me, lots of loss, lots of sadness, lots of sacrifice, lots of change, all in all it was not my favorite year to say the least. But did it have some amazing moments to it? Of course.
At the beginning of the year we almost lost someone. It was definitely one of the hardest things I’ve had to go through, we all hurt as a family. A grueling process of hospital over nights, prayer, worry, tears, and pain. But I am glad to that it’s behind us now, we were all blessed with his recovery and he’s back and better than ever! So that’s definitely something to be grateful for! During that same month I got a job promotion at my little coffee shop Marylou’s News. Although it’s nothing major I can honestly say I love what I do. I get to work with some of the greatest girls ever and I may have some haters who think I should be doing something better with my life than slinging coffee, but I’m totally okay with it, isn’t that all that matters?
I also went to see some amazing, amazing acts this year. I finally saw my girlfriend Katy Perry live, one of the top performances I’ve ever seen. Death Cab For Cutie in a tiny club with some of my closest friends, Tim McGraw front row with my love for birthday gifts, Joe Jonas with my two favorites, Brian Regan, Dashboard side stage at Bamboozle, AND THE STARTING LINE THE DAY FOR MY BIRTHDAY. YES. They will always have a special place in my heart.
I did my fair share of traveling, starting the year off right with a two week vacation with my darling grandparents and my cousin to Florida. It was gorgeous at both Marco Island and West Palm Beach in January and I missed some snow storms back home; added bonus. I went back a few times later on in the year to revisit my most favorite places on earth, Disney World, Hogwarts, and Ponce Inlet. We had a first timer with us which made the experience that much better! I did some of my necessary tour trips and made some new friends. I must say I definitely prefer bus life over van life. Don’t care how snobby I sound haha. And than your usual weekend getaways to NH, NYC, and Providence.
I read so many wonderful books this year keeping my brain active. duh. Which included revisiting the HP series. I will never grow tired of those books, ever. Speaking of Harry the films finally came to a close over the summer, so many mixed emotions. All in all I can say with confidence…the book(s) was better!
Oh and my family moved back to Massachusetts and my boyfriend was home for the majority of the year minus a few fly outs and scattered tour dates.
When I do the recap it doesn’t seem as bad as I made it out to be in the first place, but it still doesn’t make my top 10.
Anyways, it does not bode well for those that dwell on the past so now it’s on to bigger and better things in 2012. I think this is going to be a HUGE year for adventures, achievements, and lots and lots of good times!
THINGS I ALREADY LOOK FORWARD TO IN 2012:
cosmetology school.
new apartment.
ARTTM’S NEW RECORD(it’s going to be THE game changer)
COLDPLAY AT THE GARDEN(thank you malbs for my xmas gift)
Michelle & Rocky’s wedding<3, I’m lucky enough to be a part of the wedding party.
and I’m sure so much more. ANYWAYS there’s a little recap of what I have been up too, were I have been hiding, and what’s to come. As much as I pretend I like to blog, and that I’ll stick with it this time, I know I won’t. I’d rather be living it in the flesh not living through others on a computer screen. ENJOY LIFE. CEASE THE DAY. HAVE THE MOST AMAZING 2012 POSSIBLE! And hey you better make it a good one because who knows, it could be the end as we know it……..? haha.xo
